Kunstindustrimuseet (Museum of Decorative Arts and Design)

Kunstindustrimuseet (Museum of Decorative Arts and Design) Review

Rich Baldishol tapestries from 1100, Norwegian dragon-style furniture, and royal apparel (including Queen Sonja's wedding gown from 1968) make this a must-see museum. Founded in 1876, it also has exquisite collections of Norwegian 18th-century silver, glass, and faience. A contemporary Scandinavian section follows the history of design and crafts in the region.
