Nationaltheatret

Fodor's Review:

In front of this neoclassical theater, built in 1899, are statues of Norway's great playwrights, Bjrnstjerne Bjrnson, who also composed the national anthem, and Henrik Ibsen. Most performances are in Norwegian, so you may just want to take a guided tour of the interior, which can be arranged by appointment. Some summer performances are in English.
