Old Town Review

Røros's main attraction is the Old Town, with its 250-year-old workers' cottages, slag dumps, and managers' houses, one of which is now City Hall. Descendants of the man who discovered copper ore in Røros live in the oldest of the nearly 100 protected heritage buildings. A 75-minute tour starts at the information office and ends at the church.
