Geilojordet

Geilojordet Review

In the center of Geilo, the 17th-century farm of Geilojordet is a part of Hol Bygdemuseum. The cattle house, storage house, farmer's living quarters, and other buildings were brought here from the surrounding area and then restored. Cultural activities and events, such as rosemaling, wood carving, and folk-music performances, take place here. A café serves coffee, waffles, rømmebrød (sour-cream loaf), lefse (potato pancakes filled with sugar or cream), and other traditional sweets.
