Air Travel

SAS, Norwegian, Widerøe and Sterling are the major airlines flying into Bergen. Flesland Airport is a 30-minute bus ride south of the center of Bergen at off-peak hours. The Flybussen (Airport Bus) departs every 15 minutes (less frequently on weekends) from the SAS Royal Hotel, the Radisson SAS Hotel Norge, and the bus station; it will run you about NKr 80. A taxi stand is outside the Arrivals exit. The trip into the city costs about NKr 250-NKr 300. Driving from Flesland to Bergen is simple, and the road is well marked. Bergen has an electronic toll ring surrounding it, so any vehicle entering the city weekdays between 6 am and 10 pm has to pay NKr 15. There is no toll in the other direction.
