To Kokker

To Kokker Review

Ranked among Bergen's best restaurants by many, To Kokker is on Bryggen wharf. The 300-year-old building has crooked floors and slanted moldings (in that charming, rather than alarming, sort of way) and the seafood and game are excellent. The menu changes with the season, but if you get the chance try the Jerusalem artichoke soup with smoked reindeer heart—a great starter that combines two traditional Norwegian staples—followed by the venison in chanterelle sauce.
