Siljustøl
Siljustøl Review
Norway's most important composer of the 20th century, Harald Sæverud (1897-1992), called this unusual house home. He built it in 1939 of wood and stone and followed old Norwegian construction methods. Concerts are occasionally held here on Sunday at 3 pm (admission NKr 150). Take Bus 23 from the Bergen bus station, Platform 19. By car, drive 12 km (7 mi) from Bergen center to Route 580 heading toward the airport.
