For those who wish to be pampered as well as immersed in the ancient Kingdom of Mourne, brothers Johnny and Ben Hall's eclectically simple and stylish lodge is the place. "Shabby chic" guest rooms are decorated in creamy-blue colors, and have large windows with glorious views. The outside of the house is less than spectacular, but the busy estate has more than enough drama to compensate, since the family members grow their own crops, raise their own farm animals, and bake
their own bread. Among the diversions for guests is the cookery school, offering half-day courses in seafood, traditional Irish cooking, and French cuisine. The restaurant serves Irish dishes with a Mediterranean flair.

This place is an Irish oasis, and the restaurant is just beautiful and not over rated at all, the son of the owners is the chef who took us to the garden to show us the herbs he had been using our salads. This was my dream vacation in Ireland. Check out the pictures in the foyer of the past guests you cant help but be impressed. Patty & Jim Ryan
