Now serving good Dutch food in the most Gothic monument in town, with an atmosphere to match, the Weighhouse was, indeed, a former marketplace with still visible weights, pulleys, and scales suspended from the vaulted ceiling. Nijmegen's main square showpiece, it has comfortable cushioned benches inside and a bustling outdoor café. If your stomach has room, the spare ribs in a sticky sweet and sour sauce are great.
