Fodor's Expert Review Lokanta
Editor's Note: This location is no longer in operation.
A well-priced menu and funky colorful decorations, like floral oilcloths on the tables and gilded tissue holders, make this eatery popular with trendy young locals, who flock in to enjoy a delicious combination of Greek, Turkish, and Moroccan dishes. Try the imam beyildi (Turkish for "the imam fainted"), the name for a dish of eggplant stuffed with a spicy meat mixture. Because Lokanta is less expensive than some other places on this central street, it fills up fast, so get there early or reserve ahead.
