This is an old-fashioned place with a friendly staff, set in the shadow of Sint Bavo's across the Grote Markt, with small rooms that are spartan but fresh and comfortable. Impeccable bathrooms include showers but no tubs. The bar-restaurant has a nice terrace on the square.
