The Dutch Photography Museum's permanent exhibit is its basement "Darkroom," where exhibits trace the history of photography in the Netherlands. Take a large white card at the entrance and place it in the developing trays scattered around the room to start the dozen or so video clips. (The cards are marked with flags for either Dutch or English commentary, so choose carefully.) Most of the rest of the museum is given over to changing exhibitions, which are always well
worth a look. The museum is housed in the Las Palmas building in the Kop van Zuid neighborhood.
