Taxis are available at railway stations, at major hotels, and, in larger cities, at taxi stands in key locations. You can also order a taxi by using the telephone numbers below. Expect to pay at least EUR 35 for a 30-minute journey between Rotterdam and Delft.

When you buy your train ticket from a station office, you can buy a treintaxi (a taxi that operates out of train stations) ticket from some smaller stations for a standard EUR 4.30 per person, per ride. It doesn't matter where you're going, so long as it's within the city limits. The fare is so cheap because it's shared -- but with waiting time at a guaranteed maximum of 10 minutes following your call, you won't be hanging around long. Treintaxis are ideal for getting to sights on the outskirts of smaller towns. Call one of the numbers below to order a taxi in metropolitan Holland, but for treintaxis, simply go to the ticket window at the smaller train station; note that not all small towns have this service.
