Park Hotel Amsterdam Review

Though this stately 18th-century Amsterdam fixture has one foot in history, the other is firmly entrenched in the here and now, with modern-luxe decor, cosmopolitan ambience, and all sorts of high-tech amenities. You might want to take time to regard the way the regal windows are mirrored in the Singel River, but you'll have plenty of other distractions. The in-house Pan-Asian restaurant, Momo, is a local favorite; the neon lights of Leidseplein are around the corner; and the sylvan glades of Amsterdam's gorgeous Vondelpark are across the road, beckoning you to take an early morning jog. The major art museums are also within walking distance. Kids are welcome: the hotel offers a babysitting service and children's menus.
