Westergasterras Review
Located in the Westergasfabriek arts complex (just behind the Jordaan), the Western Gas Terrace restaurant overlooks a park and a former city gas container that is now an industrial-age monument. With its outdoor seating blurred with its indoor seating by retractable glass walls, Westergasterras is a perfect destination—on a lazy afternoon or evening—to enjoy the sun. Their basic but tasty café-style dishes include soups, sandwiches, pastas, tapas, grilled entrecote, and apple pie. On weekends they have been known to start a barbecue, and a DJ spins on Friday evenings in the spring and summer months.
