Housed in a former newspaper building, just like its neighboring club Trouw, Canvas offers splendid views over the city from its seventh-floor perch. The restaurant and cocktail bar are satisfying, and the music is as diverse as it comes: live jazz, experimental house, hip-hop, indie, and so forth. Besides a place for cocktails and clubbing, this is also an art gallery.
