Hampshire Inn Prinsengracht

Fodor's Review:

With vast town-house windows overlooking the houseboat-graced Prinsengracht Canal, these two 18th-century canal houses are a popular choice. When the weather is fine, it's delightful to breakfast in the hotel's garden, which also has its own small guesthouse, a simple affair that sleeps up to four. Front rooms have a view of the Prinsengracht; back rooms overlook the garden. A short walk takes you to the Rembrandtplein, the Flower Market, and the main shopping area by the Kalverstraat. Pros: great location, some rooms have garden views. Cons: rooms are on the poky side, rooms tend to book up fast.
