Skatezone
Skatezone Review
The dike-plugging Dutch boy Hans Brinker would have loved this modern skating outlet, which stocks well over 150 models of ice skates in all styles: from those made for wintertime canal gliding to hockey skates. The shop carries top brands such as Viking, Raps, Bauer, CCM, Zandstra, Graf, with a large variety of noren, the most popular style of speed skates for adults, as well as traditional Dutch wooden training skates for children (the double blades make for easier balance). Skatezone is also the place to rent in-line skates manufactured by all the bigwigs in extreme sports, including Rollerblade, K2, and Powerslide.
