Fodor's Review:
Peace and quiet await you at this friendly hotel occupying an 18th-century canal house. Ornamental cows are found everywhere in the hotel (there's a history of farming in the owner's family). There's a room to suit everyone, from a small attic room (complete with bath) to a family-sized room that sleeps four. There's also a pleasant hotel garden where you can relax and pet the resident dog. Pros: staff members are real characters, leafy location, relaxed vibe. Cons: out-of-the-way location, books up fast due to regular guests.
