Fodor's Review:
A touch of the 19th century still hovers about this very friendly hotel. Some guest rooms feature decorative ceiling moldings and chandeliers. Major art museums, the Leidseplein, the Flower Market, and the Rembrandtsplein are all within walking distance of the hotel, which is on a quiet street. For children, cots and high chairs are available if you request them in advance. Only the main building has an elevator. Breakfast is included in the price only if you pay cash in advance. Pros: kid-friendly environment, good value for money, good deal on breakfast. Cons: not all rooms have private baths, Web site often outdated.
