Stayokay Amsterdam-Vondelpark Review
Word of mouth has made this hostel so popular that more than 75,000 backpackers stay here every year. Hidden on a small side path within the Vondelpark, the location is almost like being in a secret forest, despite being only minutes away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Put your bike in the hostel's covered shed, ogle the parrots in the trees, then do a few rounds of the park (a great place to connect with new people). Accommodations range from rooms that sleep two to dormitories for 20, and sheets are included in the price. In the spacious lounge, you can use the Internet, watch TV, play pool, or get acquainted with backpackers from around the world. Some rooms are available for those with disabilities. This is probably the cleanest hostel anywhere—your mother would definitely approve.
