Fodor's Review:
You can't miss the Europa: it has a neon sign nearly larger than its four-story facade. Within easy walking distance of the Vondelpark and the elegant shopping street P. C. Hooftstraat, this family-run hotel has a lovely garden, which you may wish to escape to after realizing that the No. 1 tram passes the front – be sure to opt for the quieter rooms at the back, two of which contain small kitchenettes and provide a garden view. Pros: friendly staff, close to the Vondelpark. Cons: slightly run-down location, rooms can be noisy.
