Fodor's Review:
Appealing to youthful and budget-minded travelers, this hotel sits along its namesake canal, and is a five-minute walk from Centraal Station. The lodgings here are basic, but all rooms have private bathrooms. There's a downstairs bar where you can socialize, watch TV, and play pool, pinball, or video games. Light meals and snacks can be ordered throughout the day. Pros: inexpensive rate, convivial atmosphere, near Centraal Station. Cons: downstairs bar can get rowdy, utilitarian room furnishings.
