The legendary "Milk Way" has a broad programming policy that takes in everything from punk to house to world music. Named in homage to the building's previous function as a milk factory, this space began as a hippie squat in the '60s before evolving into a music venue for the major trends that followed. Today it's a slickly operated multimedia center equipped with two concert halls, a theater, cinema, gallery, and café-restaurant. On any day of the week you may walk into an evening of rock, reggae, drum'n'bass, hip-hop, soul, hard core, or any other imaginable genre.
