Cafes, Jordaan
Fodor's Review:
Set with Golden Age chandeliers, leaded-glass windows, and the patina of centuries, this charmer is one of Amsterdam's most glorious spots. The after-work crowd always jams the waterside terrace here, though you are just as well to opt for the historic interior, once home to one of the city's first jenever distilleries. It's not surprising to learn that a literal copy of this place was created for Nagasaki's Holland Village in Japan.
