De Uitkijk Review
Opened in 1913, this small canal-side "lookout," as its name means in Dutch, ranks as the city's oldest cinema. No longer just a one-hit wonder, the theater was spruced up in 2007 and now presents a more diverse program consisting of documentaries, kid flicks, and movies screened in cooperation with the Film Museum.
