The Frozen Fountain

Fodor's Review:

This gallery-cum-store carries contemporary furniture and innovative home accessories from such top Dutch designers as Hutten, Arad, Newson, Starck, Wanders, and Jongerius. You can find custom-made scrapwood cabinets by Piet Hein Eek, as well as artistic perfume dispensers, jewelry, and carpets. The store juxtaposes minimalism with paper-cut chandeliers and rococo seats. Part of the space serves as a museum shop for the Netherlands Textile Museum, where original European fabrics are on offer.
