Fodor's Review:
A superb canal-side location at the corner of the Utrechtsestraat – where there's excellent shopping and dining – is the main draw here. The rooms are simple, and some have shared bathrooms. The breakfast room has an aquarium, and – in 17th-century style – small Oriental carpets covering the tables. Pros: friendly staff, excellent location near Rembrandtplein. Cons: basic furnishings, some rooms don't have their own bathrooms, some carpets are worn.
