Fodor's Review:

A superb canal-side location at the corner of the Utrechtsestraat—where there's excellent shopping and dining—is the main draw here. The rooms are simple, and some have shared bathrooms. The breakfast room has an aquarium, and—in 17th-century style—small Oriental carpets covering the tables. Pros: friendly staff, excellent location near Rembrandtplein. Cons: basic furnishings, some rooms don't have their own bathrooms, some carpets are worn.
