Fodor's Review:

With its Paris-style skylights, chandeliers, silently gliding assistants, and coat of arms, this is Amsterdam's most gracious department store. It has basics such as linens and appliances, but is most loved for its array of women's fashions, ranging from cutting-edge supermodel frocks to the most proper basics for ladies who dutifully match their handbags with their shoes. Browse on the ground floor: you're likely to come upon a great buy among the limited supplies of designer lamps, bedding, and other homewares on special offer.
