Thursdays through Sundays, this megaclub opens its doors to some 2,500 people. The great Escape is meant for those who take "dress to impress" literally and are keen to dance under laser lights as DJs spin techno and all its new-millennial derivatives. In celebration of its recent 20-year anniversary, the conglomerate, also comprising the more intimate club Escape deLux (with its own entrance on Amstel 70), has expanded with a studio of MTV-esque aspirations, an LED-ceilinged lounge, and a café.
