Fodor's Review

"Soup Etc" bucks Amsterdam's slow-service trend by being particularly speedy (at least between 11 and 8 on weekdays and noon and 7 on weekends), as well as health-conscious. Eight soups are available daily, at least half of which are vegetarian. You can even ask for a taste, but we all know how much the Dutch pride themselves on their soups. Steaming bowls come with chunky slices of whole-grain breads, and the menu also offers salads and exotic fruit juices. Once you're fortified, you can rush back to searching for bargains at the Waterlooplein flea market or window-shopping for arts and antiques around its second, Museum District location.

I Miss Soup Enzo!!!

I studied in Amsterdam for 4 months and fell in love with this soup resturant. It is a small restaurant with a few places to sit inside and some outside seating on nice days but for the most part I would stop by after the gym and take the soup home. I loved their tomato soup and their bean soups...all off their vegetarian soups. They offer tastes, so if you're not sure ask to try one or two. The service was friendly and their brown bread was delicious

w the soups. I would usually get a large size and eat it for a couple days bc they reheat really well. I cannot wait until I'm back in Amsteradm to visit my fav soup restaurant! You cannot find soup like this anywhere else. in the world.
