Fodor's Review

With a bright, modern dining space lined with long communal tables and an open kitchen, this popular French restaurant in Amsterdam's emerging Eastern District is one of the liveliest restaurants in town. The food is simply prepared but delicious, and reasonably priced. The three-course menus change frequently and always include daily specials. Look for dishes like duck sausage with slices of smoked duck, green beans, and roasted hazelnuts, or a perfectly roasted chicken with rosemary, served with a Belgian-style salad of lettuce, potatoes, and vinegar. Dinner is offered at two seatings nightly, at 6 and 8:30.
