An ornate brick mansion with (some) recently renovated rooms and fine park views and easy access to the Big Three museums, P.C. Hooftstraat (high end) shopping street and the Concertgebouw concert hall.

Room
The recently renovated (if smallish) rooms are contemporary with a warm, neutral color scheme, handcrafted all-natural Nilson beds, and trendy touches. For bursts of real color, simply look outside the windows, as front rooms have fine views of Vondelpark (always in demand) and those in the back look out over the garden and terrace. Amenities include free WiFi and flat-screen TVs.
Tip Ask for a park-facing room, it’s worth it!
Bathroom
Modern, with walk-in showers or shower-in-tub combos (some with a black shower curtain), and basic amenities.
Lobby
There is a large, sleek 24-hour reception area, but you can also relax in the roomy lounge area or private garden.
Dining
A breakfast buffet can be enjoyed in the dining room or, weather permitting, in the private garden.
Drinking
There is a small in-house bar with decent espresso-based drinks and more, but you’re better off going exploring in the neighborhood as there’s plenty to choose from in the area.
