Fodor's Review

This stylish trio of quaint 19th-century townhouses offers a peaceful sanctuary with friendly service and an understatedly modern design (tripod lamps, Knoll-ish chairs, and hints of Art Nouveau). A lovely "relaxation" room is equipped with a Turkish bath and hot tub, and the in-house bar, Wines and Bites, serves coffee, tea, and snacks all day and cocktails in the evening. The Museumplein and fashionable shopping streets are just steps away, as is the Concertgebouw, if you fancy hearing some classical music in a suitably grand setting.
