Museums / Galleries, Old City Center
Fodor's Review:
Architecture Centrum Amsterdam is dedicated to modern Dutch architecture. The association organizes exhibits, lectures, and forums on the modern vogue. They also provide references for some excellent tours -- including one to the new landmarks arising along the Eastern Docklands and the new residential island Ijburg, built in the middle of the water on the Eastern most outskirts of the city. Its new exhibition space, all swoopy and silver, at the corner of Prins Hendrikkade and Rapenburgerstraat, has already become an architectural icon in and of itself.
