Malta's first coastal luxury mega-property continues to excel in its role as a premier destination on this busy tourist strip. Within walking distance of the action but still separated from it, the facilities including five swimming pools, spa, casino and rocky lido (an rocky area that's been leveled for sun bathing), which offers the ideal place to relax with the sea lapping just feet away. With eight eateries, there's no reason to leave the hotel, unless you want to. Some rooms overlook the neighboring luxury Portomaso marina with its restaurants, cafés, and yacht harbor. Avoid the south-facing rooms that look toward the island as these may have road noise.
