Frequent ACTV buses leave Piazzale Roma for Mestre and other destinations in the province. Line 5 runs to Aeroporto Marco Polo and Line 2 to Mestre train station.

ACTV buses from Venice to Padua (EUR 3.50) leave at 25 and 55 minutes past each hour, and stop along the Brenta River. ATVO has daily buses from Venice to Cortina (EUR 10.60) June-September and throughout the Christmas-New Year holidays. Buses leave Venice at 7:50 AM, and depart Cortina 3:15 PM. October-May service is available only on weekends.
