Just off Campo Santa Margherita toward the Ponte dei Pugni, this bar draws a more mature and sophisticated Venetian clientele than the student-oriented places in the campo itself. The friendly fellows running the place make an excellent (and generous) spritz, serve decent wine, and some American regulars have taught them to make a rather palatable martini. A great place for a light lunch. Sandwiches and snacks are limited, but what's offered is fresh and tasty. The salads are particularly good, generous, and reasonably priced. Outdoor and indoor seating is available. The bar hosts regular art exhibitions by local, yet-to-be-established artists.
