For a calm yet easily accessible location that won’t break the bank, Locanda Fiorita can’t be beat.
Fodor's Expert Review
Simple, clean, and quiet, Locanda Fiorita offers everything you need in a cute, affordable package. It’s more like a B&B than a hotel, and the super-friendly service and cozy atmosphere make guests feel right at home—just with Venice at their doorstep.
You Should Know Don't expect anything luxe at this hotel, but for a place to lay your head, it does just fine.

Room
Guest rooms are small, but all have 18th-century furnishings and wood floors, and some sport their own little balconies.
Bathroom
On the very small side, bathrooms are reminiscent of what you might find on a boat and have showers only—but C.O. Bigelow bath products are a charming touch.
You Should Know One of the rooms has a private external bathroom (though all the rest are en-suite), so read the fine print when you book.
Lobby
It’s cute and tiny, with exposed brick, but there’s really no place to sit there.
Dining
Locanda Fiorita doesn’t have a restaurant, but the included breakfast is a mix of croissants, breads, fruit, and other goodies.
Tip Take your breakfast either out in the adorable courtyard if the weather’s good, or in your room if not.
What's Nearby
Getting Around
The San Samuele vaporetto stop is a quick 4-minute walk away, while all the other main Venice sites are easily accessible on foot (as long as you don’t get lost!).
Restaurants
Try Ai Mercanti (6-minute walk), a haven for inventive dishes at a reasonable price, while Osteria Enoteca San Marco (7-minute walk) is a surprisingly ultra-modern Italian bistro with a wonderful wine list amongst a sea of tourist traps. Michelin-starred Ristorante Quadri (9-minute walk) is pricey and gets mixed reviews, but its prime location in Piazza San Marco is worth a look.
