Al Ponte Antico Review

The Peruch family, proprietors of this 16th-century palace inn, has lined its Gothic windows with tiny white lights, creating an inviting glow that's emblematic of the hospitality and sumptuous surroundings that await you inside: rich brocade-tufted walls, period-style furniture, and hand-decorated beamed ceilings all contribute to a luxurious, distinctively Venetian warmth in both guest rooms and common areas. One of the most enjoyable features, whether for a morning caffè or evening aperitivo (aperitif), is the intimate, upstairs terrace, from which you can observe the Rialto Bridge in one direction and the famous fish and produce markets in the other. The deluxe rooms have high ceilings and sweeping views.
