Il Ridotto Review
Longtime restaurateur Gianni Bonaccorsi (proprietor of the popular Aciugheta nearby) has established an eatery where he can pamper a limited number of lucky patrons with his imaginative cuisine and impeccable taste in wine. Ridotto, "reduced" in Italian, refers to the size of this tiny, gracious restaurant. The innovative menu employing traditional elements is revised daily, with the offerings tending toward lighter, but wonderfully tasty versions of classic dishes. The €60 tasting menus—one meat, one fish—where Gianni "surprises" you with a selection of his own creations, never fail to satisfy. Ask for a wine recommendation from the excellent cantina.
