This hip hangout is named after a play by turn-of-the-20th-century emancipated lady Amalia Rosselli—look for the framed title page inside. El Rèfolo (The Breeze, in Venetian) is a contemporary cantina in a very Venetian neighborhood, and is more un aperitivo (an aperitif) and a snack than a for a meal. Owner Massimiliano pairs great wines with select meat, savory cheese, and seasonal vegetable combos. In temperate weather, this niche-size enoteca's exuberance effervesces out onto the city's broadest street. It's open every day but Sunday from 9:30 am to 12:30 am.
