Fodor's Review:
Run with pride by the amiable Dal Borgo family since 1960, the Serenissima offers quiet rooms in the heart of town at reasonable prices. An effort to create some warmth has been made in the common areas, but the waxed wooden floors, Oriental rugs, and dark-burgundy leather couches don't lend too much to the atmosphere. A similar style characterizes the guest rooms, which, within their category, stand out for good maintenance and comfort. The busy Calle Goldoni below does not really count as a view, so your best bets are the quieter rooms at the back, all facing an inner courtyard.
