Fodor's Review:
This venerable establishment, run by the third generation of the Seguso family and housed in a modern building with good views of the Giudecca Canal, is the most authentic pensione in Venice. The option of half-board adds character to your stay, with meals served in a dining room adorned with heirloom silver plate and old wall lamps. Rooms are spare -- no TV, minibars, and some without private bathrooms -- but they're decorated with attractive wooden furniture that will charm the flea-market lovers. Persian rugs, leather couches, and dark-wood paneling set the tone for the intimate reading salon.
