Fodor's Review:
The word residenza in Italian suggests a good deal of aristocratic elegance, and this hotel, with more the feeling of a private mansion than a hotel, does not disappoint. The grand hall on the piano nobile (main floor) of this 15th-century building looks almost disproportionately opulent. Well-preserved 18th-century stuccowork adorns the ceilings and walls, along with precious oil paintings. Oriental carpets partially hide the beautiful Venetian terrazzo floor. The rooms are spacious, some with views over the campo in front.
