Fodor's Review:
This religious institution, in an excellent location north of Piazza San Marco, is one of several lodgings in Venice run by nuns. Rooms are spartan in decor but spotless and very quiet, overlooking the inner cloister. Book well ahead, as the unbeatable prices draw crowds, mostly Italians in the know. Curfew is at 11 (10:30 in the winter), and no breakfast is served. You'll need patience to deal with the language barrier if making reservations over the phone, but your virtue is rewarded with a remarkable deal.
