Locanda Orseolo Review

A relaxed atmosphere pervades at this hotel's divine hot breakfast, where it is common to become engrossed in conversation with other guests as gondolas glide lazily by the water-level windows: this lovely state-of-mind is created by this cozy, elegant hotel's attentive staff and its comfortable, well-appointed rooms (but can be ruined by a plague of singing gondoliers!). Traditional, tasteful Venetian decor takes on a Carnevale theme; many rooms are enlivened by fanciful wall murals. Common areas have warm mahogany paneling, tufted leather furniture, beamed ceilings, and tapestries.

    Fabulous

    I can't imagine staying anywhere else. If I could give 10 stars, I would. The location is perfect, the lobby and rooms are gorgeous. The service is the best I have ever experienced. Venice is breathtaking, but when I think of Venice, I think of Locando Orseolo, it is Venice to me. Can't wait to return. It is a true gem. You won't regret making this choice.

    ABSOLUTELY SUPERB !

    This small hotel (or B & B if you prefer) is just lovely. I can't say enough about the hospitality of the owners and the staff. They are so friendly and helpful and make one feel instantly at home. Breakfast was the best we had anywhere in Europe.
