Fodor's Review:
Tucked away in a little-visited part of town not far from Rialto Bridge, the Giorgione is a dignified cross between old and new. A 15th-century palace and a modern building with many common areas are set around a private garden with a lily pond. Guest rooms feature golden brocades on the walls, carpeted floors, and unusual furnishings in a Venetian-Chinese style: red lacquered headboards decorated with Oriental motifs, rounded chests of drawers, and nightstands. Some split-level rooms come with the lovely bonus of a small, private balcony.
