You'll find a warm welcome at this family-run trattoria. Whether you choose the terrace overlooking the canal or the shaded garden in back, owners Antonietta and Franco will entertain you with their lively presence. The cooking is reliably good, homey fare with the accent on seafood -- spaghetti coi caparozzoli (with carpet-shell clams) is a favorite.

A Bit Hectic, but Worth It

This restaurant was more casual than the Fodor's review implied, but we enjoyed it. We shared a communal table with a French couple who very much enjoyed the baccala. The gamberetti (tiny shrimp) were excellent and the frito misto was just what one could have wanted. Excellent wines as well.

Little Gem

You either get this place or you don't. It's not for the tourist looking for glamour. It's for those searching for authentic cuisine in a small, family run trattoria. Personally I think it's a fabulous find. Staff are always a joy and the food superb.
