Even cats know that this restaurant dedicated to one of their own offers the best fish on Burano. The "Black Cat," with its vivid blue facade, stands out among the low, brightly colored buildings animating the picturesque Fondamenta della Giudecca. All pastas and desserts are made in-house; the flavors come alive in chef/owner Ruggero's spaghetti alla scogliera, which teems with treats from the sea. The fritto misto (fish fry) is outstanding for its lightness and variety of fish.
